For some (pointless) reason, there’s an article over on ONTD comparing Mad Men and True Blood (which one is better~?) , and I’m going to (arbitrarily) use this to compare LJ with Tumblr.

LJ, Like Mad Men, appears on the surface to be respectable enough. But underneath that, there’s a lot more drama and intrigue then one would expect.

• I will never leave you, LiveJournal. Even though you can be such a child.
• But I will philander. Compulsively.
• Entries filled with self pity? Well.
• I’m not sad. It’s just that my people are Nordic.

Tumblr, on the other hand, like True Blood, is as crazy as shitballs. 

• Like. I’m not wearing any pants, typing this out.
• Get lady boners for shows on HBO.
• Needs full frontal male nudity tho.
