Confession: when I first saw Star Trek back in May 2009, I didn’t even notice the excessive amount of lensflares. I noticed their presence but I thought that was completely normal (“Colours! Look at the pretty colours! This is a pretty movie!” I thought) and it wasn’t until I joined Tumblr that I… finally saw the light. What has been seen cannot be unseen.
